It all takes time, and I believe it’s worth the investment of that time. I still don’t have many paying subscribers, but I have over 800 people I have never met (in real life) who are following my work. It’s a bit astonishing!
Totally agree! We're so used to getting bombarded with large numbers that a smaller following may seem... small. But when you think about it, we can't even fit a hundred or 50 people in our house. 800 real people who are actually interested enough to read one's work is astonishing.
